Engagement Session: Chris + Roslyn

Engagement Session: Chris + Roslyn

The following photos are out takes from a recent engagement session I was commissioned to shoot for a beautiful couple celebrating their engagement in the Philippines. The location chosen was that of The Ruins at Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.

I had the joy and honor of documenting this beautiful couple's engagement session during their lengthy stay here in the Philippines. Since Chris and Roslyn call Bacolod their temporary home, it was only fitting that the photos be taken at a location that speaks volumes about love that endures.

The couple specifically requested for The Ruins (link) in Talisay City as the location for the shoot and I was more than happy to oblige. As The Ruins are sometimes called the 'Taj Mahal of Negros' due to a wealthy sugar baron building this majestic mansion for his wife, so did Chris and Roslyn have their moment at a structure that stood the test of time.

I had an absolute blast taking photos of this very game couple. The shoot was challenging in itself because of the heavy rain fall that afternoon and shooting at night, but everything turned out A-okay with the rain drops left on the ground giving a romantic feel to an otherwise dreary and wet night.

The feelings and emotions that you see here in the photos come naturally for this fine couple. One can clearly see that theirs is a love that is reserved yet regal, quiet yet fiery but most of all it is a love that I personally believe will endure.
